Stand up comedian Geoff Armstrong has headed up a comedy team playing at the Bella Roma restaurant in La Jolla, California for one year now. The troupe includes comedians Geoff with a G (Armstrong), Gorden Downs, Michael O’Brien, Duke Michaels, Lauren Cialella, Omar Moore and Dylan Boisvert. The show on July 30th, 2011 marks the commencement of the second year for the comedy showcase.

On the Road to La Jolla Comedy Show

When asked about how he began, Geoff commented that he had considered it for some time before finally going on stage at San Diego’s Lestat’s coffee shop. "I wrote out my jokes on a yellow legal pad and took them on stage." This entry into stand up comedy did not have the polished delivery of Armstrong's current comedy routine. "My friend and his family were in the crowd. It took six months before they came back."
